What I love about Wolfgang Ludwig-Mayerhofer's site (at Universität Siegen)is his list of reasons to use syntax instead of menus. I agree with every one of them! Contains also sample code on Logistic regression, Survival analysis, Cox regression, Factor analysis, etc. There is also a  SPSS Guide (in HTML form).
